Born Again Ministries

Born Again Ministries is a faith-based nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization founded in 1990 in New York City. Established to transform lives, the ministry serves men seeking restoration, renewed purpose, and a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ. 

Since 1996, Rev. Dr. Carlos Colon and Rev. Dr. Alma Colon have faithfully served as board members and now lead the organization as the Chief Executive Officer and President, respectively. Under their leadership, the ministry has expanded its reach through multiple branches, including Born Again Christian College and Beyond Boundaries BAM.

Today, Born Again Ministries is actively building disciples and strengthening communities throughout Northeast Pennsylvania, New York, Florida, North Carolina, and internationally in Liberia, West Africa. 

Our mission is simple yet powerful:

To bring others to Jesus Christ by spreading the Gospel, restoring lives, and meeting needs wherever they exist.

We are committed to reaching beyond the walls of the church into communities, nations, and correctional facilities to share hope, truth, healing, and transformation through Jesus Christ.

Born Again Ministries serves inmates and their families with compassion and dignity by providing:

• Mentorship and counseling 
• Ongoing support inside and outside correctional institutions 

Our prison outreach is centered on restoration, redemption, and second chances.

Our ministry outreach extends throughout:

Through evangelism, education, discipleship, and humanitarian support, we are committed to empowering underserved communities worldwide.
